Recipe:Gluten Free Seed Crackers

These crackers are gluten free, sugar free and vegan and delicious with dips and hummus. Other preferred types of seeds can be substituted. 

 

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl. M
  2. Mix together with 1 1/2 c tepid warm water until evenly combined.
  3. Set aside for 20 minutes to allow to thicken.
  4. Spread out as thinly as possible over a sheet of baking paper on 2 separate oven trays.
  5. Bake both trays on circulaire function – fan forced/hot air  at 170 C for approx. an hour or until crisp but not too brown.
  6. If you are unable to spread the mixture thinly enough it may be necessary to turn over half way during cooking.
  7. Remove from oven , cool and break into smaller pieces.
  8. Keep in an airtight container.

½ c linseeds 
1/3 cup sesame seeds 
1T fennel seeds 
1 t salt 
½ c black chia seeds
