Smeg Multitech Recipe: Multitech Loaded Nachos

This dish is perfect while watching your favourite sports and by using SMEG’s new Multitech technology, saves you time and washing up.

METHOD

  1. In a small bowl mix together beef mince, can of chilli beans and sachet of taco seasoning mix, then spread over glass oven safe tray.
  2. Set oven to 220 C, 50 % steam, 200 Watt and cook for 15 minutes. There is no need to preheat the oven.
  3. While meat is cooking, prepare your favourite toppings.
  4. Once meat has finished cooking, remove glass tray from oven and give mince a stir with a fork.There will be meat juices but once you give the meat a good stir the juices
    will all be absorbed.
  5. Change oven function to Grill - 210 C
  6. With a spoon push meat towards centre of the glass tray allowing space on the sides for when the corn chips are added.
  7. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the cooked mince and place in oven on shelf level 4.There is no need to wait for grill to preheat. Grill until cheese has melted.
  8. Place corn chips around the outside and load your toppings onto the cheesy mince

Ingredients

500 - 600 gm prime ground beef mince
1 x sachet ( approx. 35 gm ) taco seasoning
1 x can chilli beans ( 420 gm tin )
2 Cups grated tasty cheese
1 pack of your favourite corn chips.
Toppings - your choice such as:
Guacamole
Sour cream
Chopped coriander
Tomato salsa - fresh (is best) or  store bought
Sliced jalapeños
