
This is a very easy Creme Anglaise style custard. Its just a matter of whisking it up and putting it in the oven. The depth of the custard in the container does affect the cooking time. A smaller deeper jar type container will take longer to cook than a larger flatter dish.
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients to a bowl or jug and whisk well to combine well
- Strain through a sieve into the container you wish to cook the custard in
- Set your oven to Steam 85C
- Cook custard for 40 minutes- 1 hour depending on the depth of the custard. When it is cooked it should still be jiggly.
- Place in fridge to cool, or have warm with your favourite dessert.
