There’s nothing like getting hands on with products before you buy.
At Kitchen Things we actively encourage you to experience the products in our showrooms: bring your favourite pots to the store to see if they fit on a cooktop or in an oven; move the shelves around in a fridge to see what layouts are possible; open dishwashers, adjust baskets and experience the build quality; bring that large plate of yours into the store to check it fits; explore the menus on our ovens (they are all in demo mode) to see what functions are available. Our consultants are on hand to explain the difference between fan-forced and fan assist and whether a steam oven would suit your needs.

Our sales consultants are all supplier-trained and have many years of collective experience in the kitchen and laundry appliance industry. They also understand the kitchen or laundry renovation process and are experienced in working with designers and architects. They have extensive knowledge of new technologies in kitchen and laundry appliances and are passionate about ensuring you only buy appliances that best suit your needs. At Kitchen Things we also have a team of dedicated Cooking Technology Experts who have had years of experience using the different brands of ovens and cooktops we range. Lauren, Fiona, Paula and Liz aren’t sales consultants. Instead their role is to help you decide what oven and cooktop technologies are best suited to your style of cooking.

They are also available nationwide for phone or video consultations and offer weekly in-store cooking technology demonstrations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. In each session, our cooking experts will educate you while you experience the oven.
