Smeg's Ever Clean Enamel creates a flawless finish on oven interiors and baking trays alike, making oven surfaces incredibly easy to maintain. Smeg's enamel is electrostatically applied - corner to corner and edge to edge to prevent cracking or crazing over time.
Smeg’s pyrolytic cleaning function features new technology for the easiest clean. The oven heats to a temperature approaching 500°C and literally carbonises grease and food residue to a fine ash which can be easily wiped out with a damp cloth. At such a high temperature, the door automatically locks for safety while Smeg's Cool Door remains safe to touch.
A 22-blade tangential fan drives air between the glass door panes, this forms a veil of cool air which buffers the radiant heat coming from inside the oven, ensuring the Cool Door is safe to the touch. Not only is the cool door safer for families with young children, it also ensures a cooler, more comfortable environment in the kitchen.
