"Had a wonderful experience with the lovely Linda Ng at the Westgate store. Very knowledgeable and helpful; great customer service. Purchasing NEFF allowed us the luxury of a forward order for 1 year which is perfect for our new build, and enabled us to lock in a great price during a time of high inflation growth."

Misha Y.

“Shopping at Kitchen Things Newmarket was a phenomenal experience for me and my wife. Initially, we were after a washing machine, a dryer and a fridge. We expressed what we were after in regards to functionality, quality, size and pricing, and all of the above was considered carefully and the models that were shown to us ended up being exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend to anyone looking for brand new modern home appliances to go to Kitchen Things"

Siobhan H.

“Went in and picked out the entire appliance range for our new build in about an hour. Winny and the rest of the team were so helpful and patient, especially with our toddler in tow"

Christina W.

“Ron was so helpful and patient in explaining the functionality and qualities of the kitchen extractor units, induction cooktops and steam/regular oven combinations. Also, kitchen layouts."

Lisa F.

“Fiona showed us the various steam oven options and then demonstrated on the model (Bosch) that best suited our needs. The steam combo oven will definitely be included in my kitchen upgrade!"

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I’m not renovating for six months. When should I choose my appliances?

It's never too early to start researching and selecting appliances. Choosing ahead allows you to explore options, take advantage of promotions, and ensure availability. We can then secure your chosen appliances and arrange delivery closer to your renovation date.

  • Can I see appliances in action before I decide what to buy?

At Kitchen Things we actively encourage you to experience the products in our showrooms: bring your favourite pots to the store to see if they fit on a cooktop or in an oven; move the shelves around in a fridge to see what layouts are possible; open dishwashers, adjust baskets and experience the build quality; bring that large plate of yours into the store to check it fits; explore the menus on our ovens (they are all in demo mode) to see what functions are available.

  • How do I know what types of oven and cooktop will best suit me?

We have a team of dedicated Cooking Technology Experts who have had years of experience using the different brands of ovens and cooktops we range. Lauren, Fiona, Paula and Liz aren’t sales consultants. Instead their role is to help you decide what oven and cooktop technologies are best suited to your style of cooking. They run pre and post purchase oven and cooktop demonstrations in many of our stores and are available for phone consultations nationwide. Find out more about this unique service here.

  • Do I need a kitchen designer before I see Kitchen Things?

Not necessarily. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in understanding appliance options and their specifications and what appliance configurations will suit your cooking and entertaining styles best. Knowing early on what appliances you want to incorporate in your kitchen will enable you to better brief your designer or cabinet maker. The designer can then create the all-important cohesive vision for your kitchen space.

  • Can Kitchen Things recommend a kitchen designer?

We are a member of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association and the NKBA website is a great place to start your research. It lists designers as well as links out to designers’ own websites that showcase their work. In addition, our team also work with talented local designers and can often provide recommendations based on your specific needs and preferences.

  • Can Kitchen Things store my appliances after I buy them and deliver them when I need them?

We offer storage options for purchased appliances, ensuring they are safely kept until your renovation schedule aligns. When you're ready, we'll deliver them promptly to your location.

  • Can I get a discount because I am buying multiple appliances?

At Kitchen Things, we appreciate your investment in your renovation project is very significant. We often have package deals or special offers available for multiple purchases, but our usual process is to discuss and recommend an appliance package that best suits you. We will then create a no-obligation quote tailored to your unique needs.
