Imagination Oysters

Here is another collaboration recipe with our friends at Imagination Gin, this time using their Wakame Seaweed Gin  which is a perfect pairing for both drinking alongside, and marinating some delicious oysters in the shell. 

METHOD

  1. In a jug, mix gin, mirin, sesame oil chopped ginger and chilli and spring onions and stir together.
  2. Drizzle over oysters in the shell
  3. Serve and enjoy directly from the shell

Ingredients

1 dozen large oysters in the shell

3T Imagination New Zealand Wakame Seaweed Dry Gin

3T mirin

2T sesame oil

2-3 T pickled pink ginger (Gari), finely sliced

1 red chilli , seeds removed, finely diced

1/2  Spring onion, Green part, finely sliced
