Cauliflower Balls

Cauliflower Balls

These golden nuggets are so easy to make and quick to cook with your oven's airfry function. You might find you want to double or triple the recipe!!

This recipe yeilds approximately 16 balls.

 

METHOD

 

  1. Process Cauliflower in a food processor until it has a large grain like consistency.
  2. Squeeze out any excess liquid with a paper towel (there probably wont be too much)
  3. To a bowl, add the cauliflower and all the other ingredients and mix well
  4. SMEG -Preheat oven on Airfry function to 230C 
  5. Form into balls  and spray with baking spray
  6. Spray airfryer tray and place balls on tray
  7. Place tray on level 3 and cook for 14-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups cauliflower, processed to grain like consistency ( approx 1/4 to 1/3 cauliflower depending on size) 

1/2 c panko crumbs

1/2 c grated parmesan

1t garlic powder 

1/2 t each salt and pepper

1 T siracha ( optional)

1/4 c plain flour

1 egg, lightly beaten.

Baking spray
