Easy Cheesy Crackers

These are very easy to make in a food processor. I often make double the quantity and freeze logs so I have them available at short notice. They are very morish though so dont be surprised if they disappear faster than you can make them 

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to food processor bowl and blitz until the dough comes together as a ball. This can take longer than expected.
  2. Roll dough into a log ( if you wish to simply slice up crakers from the log or a disc if you wish to roll out and cut with cutters )and refrigerate for half an hour.
  3. Either roll out dough to 4mm thick and cut into desired shapes or slice log into 4mm slices ( rotating log a quarter turn each slice to avoid flattening log)
  4. Bake on several trays using a fan forced function at 160 C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from tray and leave to cool. They will crisp up as they cool.

1 ¼ cups grated tasty cheese

50gm butter- chopped
â…“ cup grated parmesan
¾ cup flour
½ t salt
¼ t cayenne
½ t mustard powder
½ t paprika
